David Sirota is a recurring character, he was the class clown, in 7th Grade at William Penn Academy. He was Adam's rival for an episode, when Adam was mad that he was chosen as class clown, instead of Adam. However, they formed a truce and became close friends down the line.

Sirota is first shown as a class clown, making fun of the science teacher. He was chosen as class clown, when Adam was in 7th Grade. Which caused Adam to challenge David to who was funnier. Later that episode, it was revealed that he would go on to be a comedian.
